For this season, Ultima Gstaad promises to be the gourmets rendezvous. For three months, the hotel’s menus will be signed by the Michelin starred chef. The truffle croque-monsieur for the Lobby Lounge menu, the norwegian omelette at the restaurant, or even the Simmental burger for a room service worthy of the best restaurants in the world!

A Family Heritage

Georges Blanc is first and foremost an institution in the French and international gastronomic landscape. In 1933, Elisa Blanc is “the best cook in the world” according to Curnonsky, elected prince of gastronomes. Today, his grandson Georges, three stars since 1981, took over the torch to create in his village of origin the Village Blanc. Since 1872, starting from 120m2, the Village Blanc now extends over 4 hectares in the heart of the village of Vonnas.

The permanent obsession of this boss, ambitious, voluntary and creative, father of three children, married to the beautiful Sally, is to extend his activities in his region, Bresse and Mâconnais to Lyon where he opened a Meat restaurant, Centre by Georges.
